Why does MAK suggest looking this up?  Because, as parents, we need to take care of ourselves first!  We need to hold on to that inner strength that gets us through our days. Biofeedback:
Look this up!  
Biofeedback is now available to plug into your computer.  Personally, I use Journey to the Wild Divine - and every time I use it, I do so with a different intention.  For me, the best thing about biofeedback is that there is a tool that allows you to SEE just how much control we all are capable of exerting over ourselves...  You mean, I CAN control my angry responses to my kids?  Well, that’s something I want to know about.

Meditation, for some people, is arduous and frustrating; the antithesis of what it is reported to cultivate within us.  Check out what meditation does to our brains, though. Getting in touch with your body sometimes means getting a professional to guide you through your “sticking points”.  I went to see Doreen Jattan, owner of Roman Paradigm Massage and Therapy in San Jose, CA, because my hand hurt and she traced it to muscles you wouldn’t believe!!  Today, I’m feeling a lot better, and I know that when trouble comes my way again, she’s the first call I’m going to make!
